The KSS was established by Dr Saadat Anwar Siddiqi in 1997, and is named after the renowned Persian polymath Muhammad ibn Musa Al-Khwarizmi

Al-Khwarizmi’s accomplishments in mathematics, astronomy, and geography are unparalleled to this day. The KSS prides on its multi-disciplinary history of commemorating our community’s accomplishments spanning the fields of the natural and physical sciences. We encourage all science enthusiasts to take the plunge and join us on our mission to promote science education in Pakistan.

From hosting the annual Lahore Science Mela to inaugurating the science newsletter Takveen <link>, the KSS is at the spearhead of organizing events to showcase the Pakistani youth’s potential to the fullest. More recently, the KSS has launched various coding and programming courses, a plethora of mentorship schemes, and a variety of public lectures to help bring its audience closer to unveiling the future of science.
