Three of our esteemed members Muhammad Ayyaz, Muneeb ul Haq and Dr Muhammad Mustafa led activities involving lasers and microscopy with interactive games that combined fun with educational explanations on the subject of matter.
This is all a small step towards establishing a societal and educational system that does not limit the potential of science but rather empowers individuals from different socio-economic backgrounds to benefit from scientific knowledge. Let’s join our effort to create an inclusive framework that makes science accessible for everyone!

The recently launched Public Lecture series themed “Pakistan k Khazanay” broke its ground with it’s first lecture, delivered by Dr. Uzma Khan, Asia Coordinator of River Dolphin Rivers Initiative by WWF Pakistan on May 22nd, 2023 at Crescent Model Higher Secondary School, Shadman, Lahore.

This lecture enlightened students, teachers, and the general public about the challenges faced by Asian river dolphins, particularly the Indus River Dolphin, and introduced a pioneering conservation strategy.

On March 17 and 18, 2023, KSS set its course towards Eminabad, a town near Gujranwala, where Government Islamia High School No. 2 opened its gates for us. The Mela incorporated two of KSS’s biggest demonstrations; The LHC Tunnel and Khalai Kachwa (planetarium) which were a huge success. 

The beaming laser show, football with protons at LHC, peek into the nano world via a microscopy show and shrinking balloons while learning leidenfrost effect were highlights of the mela. Wonders of space science were not only explored through the planetarium, but the solar telescope made it possible for people to descry the sun.
