The Khwarizmi Science Society is organizing a Science Mela in collaboration with Harsukh Community of Artists and Thinkers at Harsukh School, located in the beautiful Thethar Village, Bedian Road, Lahore. The Mela invites the students of Harsukh, schools of surrounding areas and the parents to introduce themselves to the beautiful and fascinating world of science. It will be an open to all event and we invite our beloved members to be a part of it as well.

Children’s Literature Festival is a social movement by Idara-e-Taleem-o-Agaahi with a goal to expand the culture of reading for creativity, imagination and multi-sensory stimulation beyond textbooks and tests. CLF encourages children to read, teachers and schools to adopt innovative reading/learning methodologies encouraging critical thinking and empowering children as learners. Khwarizmi Science Society (KSS) and Ali Institute of Education (AIE) have initiated a joint Teacher Training Program, فکر انگیز سائنسی تعلیم Thought-provoking Science Education. In this program, we will focus on teaching of practical physics through thought-provoking, innovative and exciting experiments. The program comprises of three independent interactive workshops, the third and final workshop will take place on 20th – 22nd December, 2018 at the Ali Institute of Education, Ferozepur Road, Lahore.

Khwarizmi Science Society is organizing an introductory level workshop at Syedanwala Higher Secondary School where the participants will be familiarized with the basic concepts of computing and how they can be implemented to achieve specific tasks. Using Python language as the platform, this workshop will start right from scratch and will progressively enable Grade 9 students to program through hands-on activities.
