Date: December 12, 2025 December 13, 2025 Time: Venue: Crescent Model Higher Secondary School, Shadman, Lahore (Boys Campus) Abstract: On December 12–13, 2025, Khwarizmi Science Society co-hosted a two-day in-person workshop titled “The Belt and Road Youth and Science Teacher Capacity Improvement Workshop” in collaboration with Children & Youth Science Center, China Association for Science & Technology, China Association of Children’s Science Instructors, GreenpowerAsia, Belt and Road International Science Education Consortium, and Crescent Model Higher Secondary School at the school’s Shadman Boys Campus in Lahore. This workshop was organized as a continuation of the six online training sessions previously conducted under the same initiative, bringing participants together for an immersive in-person learning experience. Led by Chinese science education experts, the workshop aimed to strengthen the capacity of youth leaders and science teachers by providing practical exposure to innovative teaching strategies, collaborative learning methods, and global perspectives on science education. Over the course of two days, participants engaged in a range of interactive training sessions, discussions, and practical activities designed to enhance their ability to deliver engaging and effective science education. The expert-led sessions emphasized modern pedagogical approaches, cross-cultural collaboration, and hands-on learning techniques that can help foster curiosity, creativity, and scientific thinking among students. The workshop also provided an important platform for international educational exchange, allowing educators and youth participants to learn directly from global experts while building meaningful professional connections. By combining international expertise with local educational engagement, the program strengthened the shared commitment of all partner organizations to improving science education across borders. Through initiatives like this, Khwarizmi Science Society continues to promote teacher empowerment, international collaboration, and quality science education, helping educators gain the skills and confidence needed to inspire the next generation of learners.
