Date: March 17, 2023 March 18, 2023 Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Venue: Government Islamia High School No. 2, Eminabad Town, Gujranwala Abstract: On March 17 and 18, 2023, KSS set out a journey to Eminabad, a town near Gujranwala, where Government Islamia High School No. 2 opened its gates for us. The Mela incorporated two of KSS’s biggest demonstrations; The LHC Tunnel and Khalai Kachwa (planetarium) which were a huge success. The radiant laser show, football with protons at LHC, peek into the nanoworld via a microscopy show and shrinking balloons while learning leidenfrost effect were highlights of the mela. Wonders of space science were not only explored through the planetarium, but the solar telescope made it possible for people to descry the sun. The children’s wonder at the simple yet remarkable scientific phenomena, their curiosity and thoughtfulness, is what drives us forward. We appreciate the warm welcome and support from the management and everyone involved in organizing the event, and we look forward to many more events in the future!
