Abstract:

On June 13th, 2024, Hairat Manzil hosted a special “Scienci Bethak” organized by the Khwarizmi Science Society. This bethak brought together science enthusiasts for a series of engaging conversations. The event featured discussions on various scientific topics, encouraging a deeper understanding and appreciation of the power of observation and the wonders of the universe.

The evening began with an introduction by Dr. Mustafa, who set the tone for the event. He also expressed solidarity with Palestine, highlighting the importance of supporting humanitarian causes. This initial segment provided a meaningful context and underscored the Society’s commitment to global issues.

Dr. Mustafa then led a discussion on the power of observation and the science beyond what is visible. He emphasised how observation is a fundamental tool in scientific discovery, encouraging the audience to look beyond the obvious and think deeply about scientific phenomena. This segment aimed to inspire curiosity and critical thinking among the attendees.

The conversation then shifted to the origins of the universe. Tayyab Sherazi and Dr. Mustafa discussed various theories about how the universe began, touching upon the Big Bang theory and other scientific perspectives. Their dialogue provided a comprehensive overview of this complex topic, making it accessible and interesting to all participants.

The final part of the evening was an open discussion where the audience was invited to share their thoughts and ask questions. This interactive session allowed for a lively exchange of ideas, giving everyone the opportunity to contribute and engage directly with the speakers. It fostered a sense of community and collective learning.

The evening was concluded with a discussion on interstellar space and the multiverse. The members talked about the vastness of space between stars and the intriguing concept of multiple universes. This discussion covered the latest scientific theories and speculations, broadening the audience’s understanding of the cosmos and the possibility of other realities beyond our own.
