This seminar was conducted to familiarise the members with the Internet in general and special emphasis was laid upon the world wide web. In this lecture the emphasis was on what the internet as a whole is about and also the significance of the World Wide Web. Gist of the Seminar: It was also discussed that why the development of the WWW has resulted in a phenomenal growth in the usage of the Internet.
