Dr. Tariq Abdullah is a Professor of Physics in the Center for Solid State Physics (CSSP) at Punjab University. He completed his undergraduate degree in Physics from London University (1968) and his PhD from the Department of Theoretical Physics at Oxford University (1972). He has been an Associate member (1988-93) of the Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) at Trieste, Italy. He joined the CSSP in 1973 and has worked in the fields of Elementary Particle Physics, Solid State Physics, Plasma Physics and Non Linear Physics.
