Abstract:

We all talk and communicate with each other, but what if we told you that plants could do the same? Does something as cool as… 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕 π’„π’π’Žπ’Žπ’–π’π’Šπ’„π’‚π’•π’Šπ’π’ really exist?

Well, plants actually have a language of chemicals and they talk about all kinds of things, from good health, heat, lack of water, time of flowering, even a bite of an insect. Not only do they talk to their own kind, but they can also communicate with other plant species, insects, and even large animals!

During the live webinar with Dr Usman Rasheed (University of Eastern Finland), the audience got to know about plant communication and how one can eavesdrop on what the green says. A very diverse range of participants attended the webinar and asked interesting questions.
