Telescope Show at Chughtai Public Library

Khwarizmi Science Society, in collaboration with Chughtai Public Library, recently organised a captivating “Telescope Show”. The event was a delightful gathering where children and parents came together to explore the wonders of the night sky.

Our demonstrator engaged the young audience in interactive discussions before the observation, sharing insights about how telescopes work and revealing fascinating facts about space and the moon. She sparked the participants’ curiosity by introducing them to the intriguing concept of Earth’s second moon and other celestial wonders.

As the evening unfolded, the children eagerly took turns viewing the moon through the telescope, each getting a close-up look at its craters and surface details. The excitement was contagious, and even the parents joined in to catch a glimpse of our nearest celestial neighbour at the end of the session.

The show aimed to ignite curiosity and inspire a love for astronomy among both the young and the old, turning the night into an educational and memorable experience for everyone involved.
