KSS joins hands with the Children’s Library Complex for organizing the Lahore Science Mela 2019

The Khwarizmi Science Society is delighted to announce that the Lahore Science Mela 2019 will take place on 5 and 6 October 2019 at the Children’s Library Complex (CLC), Lahore, who are also the main partners for this mega celebration of science. On April 25th, 2019, the KSS and CLC entered into an agreement of partnership to execute this year’s grand celebration of science in Lahore.

The Melas from 2017 and 2018 attracted thousands of people from all walks of life and were covered in the national and international press. This year, we are coming up with a thematically sectioned festival with active exhibitors focusing on physics, wildlife, energy and environment, industry, life sciences, medicine, geology and weather, space and astronomy, and with 2019 being declared as the International Year of the Periodic Table, a special focus on materials, chemistry and the elements.
