Abstract:

They say the best science doesn’t just live in textbooks, it lives in the spark of a flame and the gasp of a crowd.

On 22nd August, the historic halls of Government MAO College, Lahore witnessed pure magic as the Joint Secretary KSS, Dr. Muhammad Mustafa, took us on a spectacular journey into the world of spectroscopy! From flames dancing in vivid colors to balloons bursting into starlight, he didn’t just show experiments, he brought wonder to life. It was more than a lecture; it was a celebration of curiosity. A room full of students, parents, and teachers, united not by duty, but by the shared joy of discovery. Because science isn’t meant to be kept in labs. It’s meant to be shared, felt, and lived together.

Waves or particles? General Secretary KSS, Dr. Muhammad Sabieh Anwar captivated the audience at Government MAO College Lahore by unraveling one of science’s oldest mysteries: the true nature of light. Through mesmerizing experiments with neon and mercury gases, he demonstrated how excited atoms emit light, each element telling its own spectral story. From thought-provoking questions to hands-on spectroscopy, Dr. Sabieh masterfully bridged concepts and curiosity. Two scientists. One unforgettable event of
science storytelling.
