Outreach Event
KSS delivered a teacher training program in Gilgit-Baltistan with the support of ALIGHT Pakistan and the
Directorate of Education Gilgit-Baltistan. The attendees belonged to the ten districts of Gilgit-Baltistan and
consisted of 20 female and 24 male teachers. The two-day workshop brought together STEM school &
college teachers from all the districts of Gilgit-Baltistan. The workshop was also attended by people from the
Education Department of Gilgit-Baltistan, members of ALIGHT Pakistan, and the students at the College of
Education where the workshop was held.

The third session of the Khwarizmi Science Society (KSS) in collaboration with LCWU under the British Council grant was held on 5th July 2022.
This session marked our third and final
Faculty Training session for the British Council funded Pak-UK Education Pathway project at LCWU.
This session focused on the importance of experiments and demonstrations in STEM teaching.

In KSS’s collaboration with LCWU under the British Council grant, the second teaching session was held by Dr. Muhammad Mustafa. The participants (current and aspiring faculty members) learned modern teaching techniques and scientific experiments that can be used to enhance critical thinking in a STEM classroom.
