Khwarizmi Science society ended yet another milestone, strengthening our society’s mission if spreading science and this time, it was our younger scientist that got the chance to not only learn but to practice entire regimes all by themselves.
On March 17 and 18, 2023, KSS set its course towards Eminabad, a town near Gujranwala, where Government Islamia High School No. 2 opened its gates for us. The Mela incorporated two of KSS’s biggest demonstrations; The LHC Tunnel and Khalai Kachwa (planetarium) which were a huge success.
The beaming laser show, football with protons at LHC, peek into the nano world via a microscopy show and shrinking balloons while learning leidenfrost effect were highlights of the mela. Wonders of space science were not only explored through the planetarium, but the solar telescope made it possible for people to descry the sun.
KSS delivered a teacher training program in Gilgit-Baltistan with the support of ALIGHT Pakistan and the
Directorate of Education Gilgit-Baltistan. The attendees belonged to the ten districts of Gilgit-Baltistan and
consisted of 20 female and 24 male teachers. The two-day workshop brought together STEM school &
